Edith Hammar

Edith Hammar, born in 1992, grew up in Helsinki, studied at the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm, and now lives in Gothenburg.

They have participated in numerous collective and solo art exhibitions, and three of their works are included in the collection at Moderna Museet, Stockholm. In 2022, Hammar was awarded the Stella Parland Prize for their art. Hammar’s interactive drama game “Sexiga byxor” received the award for the best digital audio project of the year at the Prix Europa festival. Portal is Hammar’s second graphic novel. Their debut, Homo Line, was shortlisted for the Finlandia Prize for Comics.
