Inkeri Markkula is a writer and biologist, researching northern nature.
Her research work has taken her to the Arctic regions. Markkula has lived in Lapland, Iceland and Svalbard.
The author’s debut novel Two People per Minute (2016) was nominated for the Helsingin Sanomat Literature Prize awarded for the best debut novel of the year.
