German world rights of Inkeri Markkula’s novel The Land that Never Melts sold to dtv in a four-way auction

Inkeri Markkula is a writer and biologist whose research work consists of studying the northern nature.
Markkula&#8217;s research has taken her to the Arctic regions, and she has lived in Lapland, Iceland and Svalbard. 
The author&rsquo;s debut novel Two People per Minute (2016) was nominated for the Helsingin Sanomat Literature Prize as one of the best debut novels of the year.
