Lena Frölander-Ulf

Lena Frölander-Ulf (b. 1976) is a Helsinki-based author and illustrator who writes in both Swedish and Finnish.

Her works have been presented in multiple exhibitions in Finland and internationally.

She has been nominated for numerous awards, including the prestigious Finlandia Junior award twice. Her book Me, Fidel and the Forest (2016) has been nominated for three different awards. Her celebrated first novel Nelson Tigerpaw (2019) was nominated for both the Finlandia Junior award in 2019, and the Runeberg Junior prize in 2020. The novel was awarded the Arvid Lydecken Prize in 2020.
