Tuomas Oskari

Tuomas Oskari (b. 1980), real name Tuomas Niskakangas, has worked as a journalist for Helsingin Sanomat, the largest daily newspaper in Finland, covering business, economics and politics. He also lived in Washington D.C. for four years working as the paper’s U.S. Correspondent. 

Niskakangas emerged with a powerful debut in 2021 which was his novel Their Turn to Burn (Roihu), winning plenty of praise from the public. The political thriller firmly put Niskakangas among Finnish, and broadly Nordic, thriller writers and was followed by the sequel Act of Gladius (Miekka, 2022).
