Rafsa Stonestep (Book 3)

By Lena Frölander-Ulf

Friends Rafsa, Kotten and Ziczac are back in their home region. A marmot rebellion is finally underway. The battle will be between the marmots and the vipers: the vipers have turned the entire Stonefield into a snake pit and captured the female marmots and their young ones. Marmots from near and far have joined the final battle.

How can peaceful marmots win against venomous vipers? No one knows, but they still have to risk everything and give it a try. Rafsa will have to be very brave and become who she is meant to be.

In the final, exciting instalment of the adventurous Rafsa Trilogy, the marmots finally learn about their own stories and history, which the vipers have stolen from them. Without its stories a culture is defenceless.

The Rafsa Trilogy – the Fight for the Stonefield about the rebellious, impulsive and brave marmot girl Rafsa and her two unruly companions is exciting and fun to read alone or to read aloud, with short chapters, illustrated in colour throughout. The adorable yet menacing illustrations are a trademark of Lena-Frölander-Ulf, known for her dark tones yet warm characters in artwork.
