The comics were revived by Drawn & Quarterly in 2005 in these beautiful hardback editions of collected comics in black and white. Volumes 1-5 include comics by Tove Jansson and volumes 6-10 include comics by Lars Jansson.

Volume 4 includes the following comics: Moomin goes Wild West, Snorkmaiden Goes Rococo, The Concientious Moomins, Moomin and the Comet and Moomin and the Golden Tail.

The Moomin comics were originally created by Tove Jansson and her brother Lars Jansson for the Evening News, based in London and at the time the world’s biggest newspaper. The comic was commissioned in the 1950s, and the creative siblings produced the daily adventures of the classic Moomin characters for over 20 years.The comics were syndicated to 120 newspapers in over 40 countries, reaching more than 20 million readers daily.
