Worm and the Forest

The Worm series is a timely series with fresh artwork which raises awareness and introduces the wonders of nature around the world through the eyes of an adventurous Worm in a way that speaks to the youngest in the family.

An irresistible wanderlust has overtaken the worm. He sits on his rock staring off into the distance. Suddenly, Bluebird joins him and Worm complains of his growing restlessness. Together, Worm and Bluebird embark on a journey, flying over swamps and forests until they end up at the Mediterranean Sea. Bluebird would like to turn back, but Worm wants to carry on and travel around the world and see all the forests. 

Jenni Erkintalo’s picturebook takes a stand on the state of forests around the world and introduces different forest types to young readers through an adventure story. Worm and the Forest is a continuation of the award-winning book Worm and the Sea.
