Cupboards & Goods in collaboration with Carl Larsson-gården Sundborn

21 Apr 2020

The Swedish kitchen company Cupboards & Goods has released a new collection in collaboration with Carl Larsson-gården Sundborn – a limited colour collection called Ett Hem.

Cupboards & Goods offers handmade, tailor-made and pre-assembled kitchens built in the tiny village of Hyssna, located on Sweden’s west coast. They were commissioned by the family trust of Carl & Karin Larsson to build a new kitchen for Carl Larsson-gården in Sundborn.

The kitchen that Cupboards & Goods has built for the Carl Larsson family trust was showcased at the 2020 edition of Stockholm Design Week, and it will be installed in its final location at Carl Larsson-gården during this spring.

The collaboration with Carl Larsson-gården has resulted in a limited edition colour collection called Ett Hem (Swedish for ‘a home’). Ett Hem consists of four hues developed in partnership with British paint and wallpaper manufacturer Little Greene. The colours, The Kitchen (Köket), The Verandah (Verandan), The Gate (Grinden) and In the Corner (Skamvrån), have been named after some of Carl Larsson’s paintings and draw heavily on the style and colour palette often used in Larsson’s most liked aquarelle works.

The collection will be available for a limited time only. See more info on the collection here
