17 Nov 2020

Norwegian company Ulvang just launched a new collection consisting of knitted sweaters, hats and socks with the iconic Marius pattern. The pieces are made by 100% wool and comes in several color combinations.

Ulvang specializes in wool and says their inspiration comes from the Norwegian nature, which is reflected in everything they create. Ulvang describes their new collection with Marius as a modern take on Norwegian heritage and that together they represent the best of both worlds – modern quality and traditional design.

The Marius pattern is the most famous and used hand knitting pattern in Norway, with over 7 million patterns sold. The first Marius sweater was designed in 1953 and today the Marius pattern is considered a Norwegian icon that illustrates the Norwegian’s love for nature and outdoor life.
