This autumn Polarn O. Pyret will launch their first design collaboration with the Swedish author and illustrator Sarah Sheppard. Together, Polarn O. Pyret and Sarah Sheppard has created a unique and colorful collection, inspired by the authors popular dinosaur book Dino Deluxe.
– Sarah’s aesthetic is fantastic, and this limited collection is an homage to her playful and colorful illustrations. Together, we have created a collection of high quality that lasts a long time and can be inherited further. We hope that these garments will become favorites in children’s closets, says Martina Wernemar, assortment and production manager at Polarn O. Pyret.
Sarah Sheppard is a Swedish writer and illustrator who, since her debut in 2008, has been praised for her fun, colorful and exciting books filled with interesting facts about animals and nature. Thanks to Sarah, both adults and children have become experts on dinosaurs, sharks and the animals of the forest. Polarn O. Pyret wants to promote reading and the time you spend together reading, that’s why they have let the dinosaurs from Sarah’s books take on life in Polarn O. Pyret’s clothes – and children can in their way create new stories with their favorite dinosaurs. Sarah’s dinosaurs can also be seen in a brand-new TV show called Dino Deluxe that premiered on C More earlier this month.
– My first thought was honestly that this is too great, it won’t happen. But it did! I already had a great trust in Polarn O. Pyret, both in terms of quality and design. I’ve felt assured through the whole process and that my dear dinosaurs is in very good hands, and it’s been incredibly fun to work with the team at P.O.P, Sarah says.
The limited collection will be for children of all ages and will be available in Polarn O. Pyret’s physical and online stores starting later this autumn.
