Rihanna Stars as Smurfette in New Smurfs Movie – Watch the Trailer!
Get ready for a new Smurf adventure! The highly anticipated Smurfs movie is set to hit theaters in July 2025, bringing beloved blue characters back to the big screen. Today, the official trailer was released, starring global superstar Rihanna as Smurfette!
A Star-Studded Cast and Creative Direction
Directed by Chris Miller (Trolls, The Lego Batman Movie), the new Smurfs film promises a vibrant, musical take on the classic Smurfs universe. When Papa Smurf (John Goodman) is mysteriously taken by evil wizards, Razamel and Gargamel, Smurfette (Rihanna) leads the Smurfs on a mission into the real world to save him. With the help of new friends, the Smurfs must discover what defines their destiny to save the universe.
In addition to voicing Smurfette, Rihanna will also contribute to the film’s soundtrack and is joined by an all-star cast that includes actors Nick Offerman, Natasha Lyonne, Daniel Levy, James Corden, Octavia Spencer, Sandra Oh, Kurt Russell, and John Goodman.
