Me, Fidel and the Forest

Mum loves the countryside. She loves the sea. She loves the wind. She loves the forest. But I’m afraid. Of the sea. Of the wind. Of the forest. Mum wants me to wee in the forest. But it’s dark. This is a story about facing the dark and seeing light, even where there is very little of it, about conquering fears and embracing the world. It is beautifully intertwined with its scraperboard and watercolor illustrations.
