A cheerful Party collection from Moomin Arabia features Tove Jansson’s 1950s illustrations

Moomin Arabia’s Moomin 80 anniversary releases continue with the new Party collection, which instantly elevates table settings to a celebration mood. The novelties are decorated with lively illustrations based on Tove Jansson’s Moomin drawings from the 1950s. The products become available on March 6, 2025 and will only be available until the end of the anniversary year.

The Timing is Always Right to Throw a Party

A big day, a casual toast, or surprise guests, perhaps? There are as many occasions and reasons to throw a party as there are creatures in Moominvalley. With the new Moomin Arabia Party collection, the timing is always perfect for celebration.

Available in early spring the selection of glass items, tableware and textiles brings the Moomins’ cheerful mood to any occasion, from Easter to garden parties and Hanami picnic festivities.

This time, the collection does not include ceramic dishes, but the novelties easily combine with the existing tableware one has at home, such as other Moomin dishes and the ceramics from Arabia’s Teema series.

Beloved Illustrations by Tove Jansson from the 1950s

The collection is fresh and colourful and features the Moomins and their friends in lively illustrations and geometric patterns with a playful retro vibe.

In 1956, Tove Jansson created these illustrations for curtains sold at the Finnish department store Stockmann. Today, these nostalgic drawings, featuring many fun elements, are perfectly suited for a variety of new items. In fact, during the Moomin’s 80th anniversary year, you may find similar illustrations adorning products from various brands that celebrate the beloved Moomin characters.

Only Available During the Anniversary Year

Like parties, all good things eventually come to an end. As part of the Moomin 80 anniversary celebrations, the Party collection will only be available during 2025.

The Moomin Arabia Party collection will be available from 6 March 2025 until the end of 2025 or as long as the stock lasts in the Moomin Arabia webshop at moominarabia.com, Moomin Arabia Stores and Moomin Shops as well as widely from retailers.
