The 2025 Adlibris Awards Nominees Announced

The nominees for the 2025 Adlibris Awards in both Finland and Sweden have been revealed. We are delighted to share that authors, illustrators and brands represented by Rights and Brands are among the nominees.

Adlibris Awards Nominees in Sweden

Sofie Sarenbrant’s Följeslagaren (The Follower), the twelfth standalone instalment of the Emma Sköld series, is shortlisted in the Crime & Thriller of the Year.

The newest picture book in the Vera & Ville series, written by Katarina Ekstedt and illustrated by Lovisa Blomberg, Vera & Ville: Look Ghosts! (Vera & Ville titta det spökar) is among the ten nominees in the Children’s Book of the Year (0-6 years).

Little Ghost Laban (Lilla Spöket Laban), Maxi & Helium (Musse & Helium), The JerryMaya Detective Agency (LasseMajas Detektivbyrå) and IJustWantToBeCool , which are all represented by Rights & Brands for licensing rights, are among the nominees in the categories Children’s Book of the Year (0-6 years) and Children’s Book of the Year (6-12 years).

Adlibris is the leading book retailer in the Nordics, and it established the Adlibris Award in 2019. The annual prize is presented in a total of nine categories. The nominees are selected by book experts at Adlibris, and readers decide the winners through a public vote. In Sweden, the winning titles will be announced on January 28, 2026.

Adlibris Awards Nominee in Finland

In Finland, the newest Tatu and Patu book, Tatu and Patu Have a Problem and Know How to Solve It (Tatun ja Patun 14 outoa ongelmaa ja ratkaisut niihin) by Aino Havukainen & Sami Toivonen, is among the Adlibris Award nominees in the category Children’s Book of the Year.

In Finland, voting is open from October 22 to December 7. To vote, click here. The winning titles in Finland will be announced on February 12, 2026.
