Carl-Otto Johansson and Ola Lindblom

Carl-Otto Johansson (b. 1976) is the children’s music performer behind the stage name Daddy Donut (Pappa Kapsyl in Sweden). He released his first record in 2012 and has been touring with his unique music of dinosaur rock ever since.

The illustrator Ola Lindbom (b. 1979) brings to life the chase and thrill in Daddy Donut’s texts. He is an illustrator and librarian. Lindbom’s pictures are wonderfully detailed and portray a fresh take on the dinosaur-themed books by Daddy Donut. 

Together the duo has created the picture book Running from the T-Rex (Jagad av en T-rex). This was followed by their collaboration on the book Dinosaur ABC (Dinosauriernas Alfabet), which is a fun take on the alphabet that is taught with a rhyming text introducing different dinosaurs.
