Blue's Christmas

Something strange is happening. Blue’s friends Pluck and Messy behave oddly and all they speak about is Christmas, who will come soon. Blue has no idea who or what Christmas is, but something strange anyway. She gets advice from her friends about how to prepare for Christmas and wants to do everything well, but it’s not that easy when you don’t really understand what it is all about! What if she doesn’t behave well enough and doesn’t get any present?

Blue even makes a list of what she found out about Christmas:

– It implies little guys with a red cap who are spying and are called “elves”. (Suspicious!)

– Messy says that I must clean up the house meticulously if I want Christmas to come. (What a demanding guest!)

– We must sing Christmas songs. (What are they? Obviously, Christmas likes music.)

– There has to be Christmas lights. (I guess Christmas sees badly if he doesn’t find the path otherwise.)

– Christmas brings presents. (I like that!)

– I must behave well. (Will Christmas not come if I sulk or if I’m angry?)

– Messy always comes to measure my head. Somehow it has with Christmas to do. (But how?)

Blue’s Christmas is a cheerful and relatable story about waiting for Christmas, anticipation, sharing and being happy together.
