The Garter Snake (Sukkanauhakäärme)

It’s the hottest night of the century. P.I. Jussi Vares is hired to solve a mysterious case, but a sudden death changes the assignment. The investigation makes Vares turn his attention to the discos and second-hand bookshops, the drug route going through Stockholm and the trendy gym in the city centre. Before long Vares realises he’s involved in a case with hot money and chilly silk. And in the background slithers the sly garter snake…
