"The premise of the story is so plausible and the plot so breathtaking and exciting that it doesn't need any extra tricks. ... Samuli Laiho speaks the truth in the language of fiction."

  • Kansan Uutiset

"The House Upon the Rock isn't just action for action's sake. The world of the novel reflects the violence, and its threat, against women... [The novel] is a five-star, ambitious thriller that wipes out most of the old masters."
