Publishing Weekly Wrap-Up June 14th – June 18th

18 Jun 2021

Looking back at another great week at the agency. This week we have some new cheerful children’s books, a new Moomin book out in Latvia and some nice publicity for one of the newest adult fiction books. Our busy bees in our foreign rights team have also made some wonderful deals. It’s time for our Publishing Weekly Wrap-Up that shares the latest activities, news, deals and much more from the past week. Here are the latest highlights.

We want to wish a happy publication day to Little Anna Looks at Animals and Little Anna Looks at Vehicles by Inger and Lasse Sandberg, published by Rabén & Sjögren. These colourful and playful board books are perfect for young readers who together with Little Anna learn about animals and vehicles.

New translated editions

The Latvian edition of The Book about Moomin, Mymble and Little My (Hur gick det sen?) is out, published by Liels un Mazs.

In the media

FILI released its fifth video clip and this time translator David Hackston introduced four crime novels from Finland including Their Turn to Burn by Thomas Oscar. Watch the entire clip here.
