Rights & Brands Asia is the licensing agent based in Hong Kong for brands and characters, including the popular Nordic character “Moomin” for the Greater China market.

Rights & Brands Asia was established in September 2021 as a joint venture among PPW Sports & Entertainment (HK) Ltd. (a full service brand management and licensing agent for a wide variety of IPs, and who had been Moomin’s agent since 2019), ITOCHU Corporation (one of the largest Japanese general trading companies) and R&B Licensing Holding Asia AB which is owned by Moomin Characters Oy Ltd. (Moomin’s rights owner) and R&B Licensing AB (Moomin’s global master agent).

Leveraging the experience and credit inherited from PPW and ITOCHU, and strongly backed by the capital participation of the Moomin rights owners, we are providing services that maximizes the value of the brand for our clients.
