Mixing print-on-demand with augmented reality – the Smurfs are now at SPACE Stockholm

01 Nov 2022

This week the Smurfs will guest the dxme print-on-demand shop at the digital culture center SPACE in Stockholm. Using augmented reality, dxme offers visitors a chance to create their own custom Smurf t-shirt using AR glasses, with special prints only available at the dxme store.

Dxme is a company that enables retailers to offer personalized textile products and at the same time, creating memorable, immersive experiences for consumers. Using a tablet or AR glasses, customers can create a fully customed designed The Smurfs t-shirt that is printed instantly at the store.

The customer can choose to use AR glasses or a tablet to create their Smurf design. The options when creating the design range from choosing the color of the t-shirt to logos, background and artwork. When using the AR glasses, the different options are shown using augmented reality, so that the and the user can click and choose which ones they prefer and see the t-shirt come to life in reality before them.

Only at this dxme Smurf event: exclusive Sweden and Stockholm Smurf logos are available.

When the user is satisfied with their design, they send it directly to the special printer in the store and receive the final product. Watch this video for the full dxme experience:
