Polarn O. Pyret is back with a long-awaited second collection featuring the works of Ilon Wikland & Astrid Lindgren! After the success of the 2022 limited winter collection, Polarn O. Pyret is now launching colorful spring clothing with artwork from The Children of Noisy Village (Barnen i Bullerbyn) and Lotta on Troublemaker Street (Lotta på Bråkmakargatan).
“There are stories from childhood that live on in one’s whole life. Such are Astrid Lindgren’s fairytales about Lotta on Troublemaker Street and The Children of Noisy Village, beautifully illustrated by Ilon Wikland.” This is how Polarn O. Pyret describes their collaboration with stories by Astrid Lindgren and Ilon Wikland.
It was in October last year that Polarn O. Pyret launched their first collection featuring characters from Astrid Lindgren and Ilon Wikland’s stories. After some sneak peeks of the collection, the anticipation from customers was huge, and several items sold out on the day of launching.
For over 40 years, Polarn O. Pyret have specialized in making the highest quality, organic, unisex clothing for babies & children. With their collections, P.O.P also wants to encourage children and adults to take the time to read more and explore the world of fairytales, so what better than to collaborate with the works of Sweden’s most famous children’s author?
This new collection features children’s clothing in the form of sweatshirts, dresses, leggings and pajamas in sizes from baby to older children. The new spring collection is presented with classic illustrations from books such as “Spring in Noisy Village” (Vår i Bullerbyn) and “Lotta’s bike” (Visst kan Lotta cykla), written by Astrid Lindgren and illustrated by Ilon Wikland.
The Astrid Lindgren & Ilon Wikland spring collection is launched on March 15th and is available in all Polarn O. Pyret stores, and online at polarnopyret.se
