Polish sale for It All Changes After the Summer

The Polish translation rights for the novel IT ALL CHANGES AFTER THE SUMMER (Kesän jälkeen kaikki on toisin) by front-line author Siri Kolu have been acquired by Dziwny Pomysł. 

The book tells the story about a transgender youth Peetu who spends a summer up in the air flying in a glider with dad as they share ten flights of lightness together. As autumn comes along Peetu’s life is at a turning point. The book was nominated for the Finlandia Junior Literature Prize in 2016 and awarded the Topelius prize in 2017. 

Polish translator Adam Sandach’s perfect description of the novel:

“ An extremely sensitive and tender story about family relationships, about love, fear, regret, anger, but above all, about becoming yourself and living in peace with who you truly are.”

The Polish edition is set to be published in May 2021.
