In the forthcoming weeks the Moomins and Tove Jansson are on display at NK Gothenburg. This Saturday there will also be a livestream from NK with the team behind the new ‘TOVE’ film.
This Friday is the Swedish premiere of the film ‘TOVE’, the first ever bio-pic drama about Moomin creator Tove Jansson.’TOVE’ will open Göteborg Film Festival and to celebrate this Rights & Brands has together with Nordiska Kompaniet Göteborg, NK, created an exhibit in the display windows of NK. The windows feature props from the film, memorabilia and Moomin products that can be purchased at NK.
Moomin mugs from Arabia, wallpapers from Photowall, cushion from Nordic Form, kettle from Adexi, figurines and flower pot from Mitt & Ditt and a Moomintroll from the Tove film.
Several of the objects is props used in the film and replicas of Tove Jansson’s belongings and art.
The Tove and Moomin display will be featured at NK until February 14th.
Livestream from NK with the team from ‘TOVE’
On Saturday, January 30, NK will livestream a talk with Alma Pöysti, Andrea Reuter and Zaida Bergroth from the Tove film. The talk is led by Andrea Reuter, producer of the movie, and is organized in collaboration with Rights & Brands, Moomin Characters and NK.
The talk starts at 13.00 Swedish time and will be livestreamed on NK’s Instagram account, @nordiskakompaniet. The talk will also be uploaded as an IGTV that can be watched afterwards.
