Mimir’s Well

Siri is back for another adventure!

This time, the courageous Viking girl and her friend Zack are searching for a lost treasure. They get help from Ansgar, a monk who is looking for books that have been stolen.

The hints lead them to a mystic place called Mimir’s Well. But they are chased by the villain Ivar and the blunderer Grym, who are trying to get the treasure for themselves.

Siri must again make use of her cleverness to solve riddles and avoid traps. And what kind of treasures are waiting for them at Mimir’s Well?

Mimir’s Well is the second part in the series about Siri the Viking. This brilliant comic series is aimed at middle-grade readers, and the series mixes imaginative adventure with historical settings and facts about the Viking age.

Reviews

  • The Swedish Academy of Comic Art

"This series about the courageous and charming Viking girl Siri is no less than a masterpiece. A children’s comic series in the same category as the best international works."

  • The Swedish Research Institute in Istanbul (SRII)

"With a swift plot, well researched illustrations and a tough little girl in the lead, Siri the Viking is a reading experience for all ages. Not the least does it convey a story about cultural encounters in the Middle Ages, which should be written about more often in our time."

  • Bibliotekstjänst

"The plot is exciting without presenting actual violence. Siri is not scared at all, she is intelligent and active … The comic offers both a fun reading experience and historical knowledge."
