What Little Anna Collected

Anna is a little girl who likes to do things by herself. She likes to build things and she wants to decide on things. She knows how to, for Anna is a very resourceful little girl! While still small, Anna is also very brave and inquisitive.

Little Anna goes out to look for things that could be put to use. She discovers a big pile of things just outside their house! Anna finds many objects, including boxes, wheels and a carpet. She thinks these are great for building new things…

‘What are you going to do with all that junk? asks little Anna’s mother. ‘Well, I’ll show you.’ says Anna. ‘I’m going to build a flying machine!’

With everything she finds, little Anna creatively builds a car, a boat and even an airplane of her own.

First published in 1965, the artwork and style of this book were updated in 2015.
