The new adventure centre Funnys Äventyr opens on October 10, but visitors are already welcome to the magical Funny Store that opened this weekend. The shop is filled with products from different characters like Pettson & Findus and Mamma Moo and the Crow – and Sweden’s first Moomin shop-in-shop.
Funnys Äventyr opens in Malmö, Sweden on October 10. The centre focuses on familiar stories and characters from Nordic children’s literature. This weekend was the premiere of the magical Funny Store, that visitors may access without an admittance fee.
Sweden’s first Moomin shop
Funnys Äventyr will not only present Moomintroll and his friends but also other characters familiar from children’s literature; Pettson & Findus, Aladdin, Alfie Atkins, Meia & Halvdan Viking, The Little Mermaid, and Alice in Wonderland are on the list among other lovable characters.
A new, fairytale-themed shop has opened at Funnys Äventyr that is already accessible now, before the official opening on October 10. The Moomins play a significant role in the shop and the best part is that you can do your Moominous shopping without having to pay an admittance fee!
Moomin products have previously been showcased in Sweden at select retailers and at various events in the shape of pop-up shops. The Moomin shop at Funnys Äventyr is at the moment a unique Moomin location in Sweden.
The shop is open Mon-Sun 10am – 8pm.
